Pastor Deanna Strombeck
Welcome, and thank you for visiting our website!
My name is Pastor Deanna Strombeck and I am the Local Pastor appointed to serve here at Wolf Lake. My faith journey began as a child who was raised in the Lutheran Church in Hammond, Indiana. And although I still love the Lutheran Church I share openly that I was raised Lutheran but born a Methodist. After growing up in Munster, Indiana my family moved to Mukwonago, Wisconsin for a few years until returning to North Webster in 1984 where I currently reside. I mentioned “returned to North Webster” because the lake is where I spent my summer vacations throughout my childhood in a rental home in Epworth Forest. I married my husband Bob Strombeck in 1993 and we have two children, Ashley and Christopher. Our daughter was married in December of 2019 to Larry Christenson and will graduate college as an elementary teacher in spring of 2020. Our son is attending college online studying accounting but is leading the children’s ministry and hopes to be a youth pastor. I am a full time Chemistry teacher at Goshen High School and have been teaching in the public schools since 1995. I answered God’s call to ministry in 2011 and was appointed to North Webster United Methodist church as the Associate Pastor until August of 2019. I am grateful that God called me to ministry as a Local Pastor and look forward to many years of leading people into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.
